Also know as Twenty-one, Blackjack is one of the most famous and played gambling games around the world. Insurance: When the face up card of the dealer is and ace, the player may make a side bet to guard his hand against a possible Blackjack; this bet pays 2 to 1 if the dealer has a blackjack.

Double Down: Before the player gets dealt any additional cards, he may double his original bet while receiving one (and only one) additional card.

Split or Pair: When the player is dealt a pair he can split these cards and play 2 hands instead of just one by placing a second bet equal to the original bet on the second hand, receiving 2 cards to complete each hand.

Surrender: Some casinos offer this option. When the dealer checks his hand for a blackjack, the player may surrender half of his bet money and not continue playing his current hand.
